Secrets to drawing the ball off the tee

Do you strive to hit high arcing draws off the tee? If so, this month’s lesson is for you. In this video, Dave explains three things Patrick Reed does to help facilitate a consistent draw with his tee shots.

In Summary:
  1. Tee the ball a bit higher to encourage more of an “in to out” swing path.
  2. Flare your trail foot away from the target to help promote a full turn during your backswing. A bigger turn will assist you in creating the proper swing path for a draw.
  3. Keep your head and eyes more stable through the hitting area. This will help you to slow the rotation of your upper body, allowing your hands and arms to pass through nicely so you can close the face down at impact.
