Is your most prominent miss, a hook? This month, Dave analyzes the golf swing of the 2025 FedEx Cup Champion and Tour Championship winner, Tommy Fleetwood. In the video above, learn three things Tommy does very well in his swing that will help you to move away from an over draw or hook pattern. In Summary: When you are hooking the ball, the clubface is too far closed relative to your swing path. Assuming you are in a solid halfway down position, here are three things you can do to help move away from this ball flight: 1 – Create space for your hands to swing further left through the impact area by keeping your hips back and rotating well. This will encourage a more neutral swing path. 2 – Train the feeling of matching the leading edge of the club with your spine angle post impact. This position can provide a sense of a more open face through the hitting area. 3 – Practice an abbreviated finish just like Tommy Fleetwood. This will help sync up your arms and body, and further aid in moving away from a hook. ————————————————————————————————- Have Your Swing Analyzed Next To The Pros! ![]() * Easy, Convenient And Effective – Start Your Training Today! * * Contact Dave For Details! * ————————————————————————————————— Now Available At: The Golf Crypt in Jupiter, Florida Abacoa Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida —————————————————————————— ![]() |
